According to NHS guidance men aged 19-64 should have 300mg of magnesium per day, while women aged 19-64 should have 270mg per day.

To use For the Love of earth magnesium ointment rub 1/2 a teaspoon of the ointment into the sole of each foot before going to bed, the reasons for applying to your feet are;
- The pores in the skin on the soles of your feet are bigger than anywhere else on your body. They act as straws, drawing in the magnesium.
- There is no sebum produced on the soles of your feet so there is no barrier to absorption
- There are over 200,000 nerve endings in your feet, transmitting information back to your brain.
If your restless legs start before you go to bed you would need to apply earlier in the evening. If you feel a headache or migraine coming on you can rub some into your forehead.
The ointment can also be used on children over the age of 2. We have had excellent feedback from parents using it as part of the bedtime routine and also for older children with growing pains.
Suitable for use in pregnancy after week 12. This is due to the Lavender essential oil which should be avoided in the first trimester. After giving birth continued use of the Magnesium ointment may also help with your milk production.

Do not use if you have severe kidney function disorders or Myasthenia gravis.

Heaven in a jar After a speedy delivery which arrived well packed I used the ointment on my leg which has given me problems this last thirty years I was amazed at the difference in the discomfort it improved considerably and I have now lost two inches from my knee circumference and I can now walk around without agonising discomfort and I slept through the night after two applications I will certainly be ordering more after the Easter break To any one reading this review all I can say is it’s your heaven in a jar
Oh my! I’ve been suffering with foot pain on/off since I started the menopause two years ago. The arches in my feet felt like elastic bands about to snap. I take magnesium orally but saw the magnesium ointment reviewed somewhere. I decided to try it and ordered some. All I can say is a miracle has occurred. On the first application the pain dulled immediately. I’m writing this after the second application last night. Again the pain dulled, my feet feel lighter. Hard to explain. I’m sure upon using this regularly my foot pain will be a distant memory. I’ve placed another order for my mum to try. Thank you!
I can’t rave about this product enough. I’ve had 3 jars now and I panic if I’m running low. I’m 28 years old and I’ve never thought about using anything on my feet before bed but what a game changer. I get restless legs/ ankles. Since using this product, I no longer suffer as much as I did. It was daily before but now it’s once a month around my menstrual time. I’ve used this on my forehead when I get migraines, it works. It’s amazing ( just need bigger jars now) hehe.

I bought the Magnesium ointment off you in Margam on Saturday. I was hoping to ease the discomfort of restless legs. Saturday night I could feel the niggley feeling but not one twitch. Sunday night totally relaxed legs. Even better when climbing the stairs into on Monday morning the heavy leaden feeling was gone. I'm truly amazed at how fast and effective this ointment is. I've recommended it to a colleague too.
I have not slept in years went to margam food festival 2024 and as I was leaving seen the stall noticed the sign so went to look my husband said get it if it doesn't work you've not lost anything my Doc give me sleeping tablets as he was getting worried about my lack of sleep they are still in the packet not taken any put this on my feet every night and I have had 8 to 9 hours sleep every night since I have given out the name of the company to everyone who has a problem sleeping as I can't believe how great it is thanks for being at the festival in margam . Not only is it just about the only moist product I can bear to have on my feet, it is revolutionising my sleep which has always been appalling. I go into such a deep sleep using your ointment that I have had some nights recently when I don't remember my dreams, which are usually very vivid. I am someone who has suffered with restless leg syndrome her entire teen and adult life. It’s exhausting, embarassing in public and frustrating to me and my poor husband who I share a bed with! When I was pregnant, my condition ramped up to the point I was waking up physically exhausted from the constant tightening of muscles and kicking out. I've been using the magnesium ointment for a year now, it has made such a difference to my sleep. Initially I was sceptical about whether it would work, I'd never had a problem with sleep before reaching perimenopause but had been waking through the night for several months. I've dealt with restless legs for years!! Especially if I'm sat down too long or eaten particular foods that trigger it. I've been using this ointment for a few days, every night before bed and sometimes in the morning. I certainly believe it is working because I don't feel the restlessness kick in as bad as it usually does. Only because I've suffered with it for so long, the restlessness hasn't gone away suddenly, but definitely doesn't feel as bad as it used to ... if I can feel improvements already, I look forward to using this more and more!
